Animated series and original music

Little Fox

Ten stories about a curious little fox, friendship and small discoveries. A woodland world with recurring characters and a musical voice of its own.

Little Fox

01 / THE IDEA

A little character.A world to discover.

Little Fox is built around recognisable emotions: curiosity, care, uncertainty and the joy of meeting a friend. A fox and a firefly explore the forest, learn to help and notice things that are easily overlooked. Movement, light and music tell the story without dialogue.

A series needs a consistent character and a world that feels familiar across episodes. Recurring animals, natural details, lighting and musical themes help the audience return to the same story.

02 / PROJECT EPISODES

Every episode

Ten episodes — from the first discovery to the season finale.

  1. Little Fox and a firefly beside a stream in the evening forest.01

    The First Glow

Little Fox meets a firefly and follows it into the forest at dusk. A stream crossing and a sudden shower turn their first encounter into the adventure that begins their friendship.

  2. Little Fox rests beside a young hedgehog near a stump in the evening mist.02

    A Light in the Fog

A little hedgehog is lost in the evening fog. Little Fox and the firefly help him find his mother, learning to slow down, stay together and notice a small light in the mist.

  3. Little Fox beside a shallow, stony forest stream.03

    The Missing Stream

The familiar brook has almost fallen silent, and Little Fox follows the water’s trail through ferns, birches and a sunlit meadow. Along the way, he meets a quick squirrel and a helpful beaver.

  4. Little Fox on a rocky forest path overlooking the lake.04

    The Secret of Echo Hill

A mysterious tapping leads Little Fox and his squirrel friend to a rocky hill beyond the lake. Searching for the sound introduces them to a young hare and a woodpecker, and teaches them to listen closely to the forest.

  5. A young owl on a low birch log in a sunlit meadow.05

    A Wing on the Wind

A young owl is ready for its first short flight, but the wind makes it hesitate. Little Fox and the hare help it find a quieter path, then give their new friend room to try on its own.

  6. Little Fox watches a mouse on a mossy mound beside rainwater.06

    The Island in the Rain

After the rain, a wood mouse is left on a mossy island. The little frog’s route will not work for the mouse, so Little Fox and his friends look for a path that suits their small neighbour.

  7. Little Fox and a dormouse in the autumn forest.07

    The Hidden Harvest

Missing hazelnuts and a rustle inside an old log turn an autumn walk into a small investigation. Following the clues, Little Fox and his friends meet a jay and a hazel dormouse.

  8. A young badger drinks at the spring while Little Fox waits nearby.08

    The Hidden Spring

The first frost turns the forest silver: tracks lead Little Fox to a shy young badger, while a robin reveals a spring beneath the roots. Beside the water, Little Fox learns to give others room to take their own first step.

  9. A young otter on a rock beside a quiet forest bay.09

The Secret of the Quiet Bay

A ring on the water and a long trail beside the reeds are two clues with different answers. Little Fox meets a kingfisher and a young otter, while a new path reveals his familiar home from an unexpected angle.

  10. Little Fox looks towards the old pine from a slope above the lake.10

    Every Path Leads Home

The wind hides a familiar fork beneath autumn leaves, and Little Fox searches for the way back to the old pine. A roe deer and her fawn, familiar sounds and a brief shower help him rediscover the forest and return home.

03 / THE VISUAL WORLD

A story builtfrom details.

Production images created for scenes in the project.

04 / PRODUCTION

How the project was made

01

Stories and storyboards

Each episode has a small challenge and a sequence of actions. The scenes are arranged to carry the story without explanatory dialogue.

02

Characters and movement

Production images establish character designs, spaces and lighting. The scenes are then animated and connected through editing.

03

Music and emotion

Original themes link the characters and episodes. The score follows the movement, pauses and emotional shape of each story.

05 / ORIGINAL MUSIC

A theme ofthe fox’s own.

Little Fox has its own musical score and a separate album of ten instrumental compositions. A four-note fox theme is carried by soft piano and wooden flute, while the firefly is associated with the shimmer of celesta.

Strings, woodwinds and harp expand the woodland palette. Recurring motifs connect the episodes, while each story keeps a distinct mood.
