ONE STORY, A DIFFERENT AUDIENCE
Video localization & language adaptation
Adapt video for another audience with subtitles, on-screen text, an optional new voice track and an agreed language review process.
GLEB KHUDIAKOV / ONE STORY, A DIFFERENT AUDIENCELocalization affects the whole viewing experience: speech, subtitles, titles, examples and the final call to action. We review your video to identify which elements need to change for the intended audience. Some projects need subtitles; others need a new voice track and timing adjustments because phrases have different lengths. Language availability and review arrangements are agreed before production. Approved translations or a designated language reviewer are useful for terminology, brand wording and subtle meaning. The aim is a clear new version that preserves the purpose of the original.

02 / How we work
How we work
- 01
Sources and language
Provide the video, original script and separate voice, music and effects tracks if available. We define the audience, target language and review process for important terminology.
- 02
Adaptation and sample
We check phrase length, subtitle readability and whether on-screen titles can be replaced. If voice work is included, sound and pronunciation are tested on a short passage.
- 03
Assembly and review
New elements are synchronized, with checks on line breaks, timing and audio balance. The language version follows the agreed review procedure before publication files are prepared.

FAQ
Questions about this service
Which languages can I request?+
Specify the source and target languages in your enquiry. Feasibility and review arrangements are assessed using your material. Also mention any existing translation and who will approve terminology and the final script.
Can you replace the voice and keep the music?+
Separate audio tracks make this more straightforward. If only a finished video is available, we first assess the available approach and its effect on the sound quality.
Does this include precise lip synchronization?+
That requires a separate test using the original footage. It is not automatically included in standard voice-over or subtitles; the material and achievable result must be reviewed first.
